Israel has intensified its military offensive in Lebanon, launching heavy airstrikes on Beirut’s southern suburbs. The Israeli military said it carried out 26 waves of overnight strikes targeting Hezbollah command centres and weapons storage sites, with more than 500 targets hit this week.
