The East-West corridor proposed as part of the Musi Riverfront Development Project, will be a combination of at-grade and elevated corridors, punctuated by trumpet interchanges at every major junction. Its construction and operations will be in Build-Operate-Transfer mode modelled after the Outer Ring Road, which involves toll collection for road use.

The details were shared though a presentation on Friday (March 13, 2026) by the Managing Director of the Musi Riverfront Development Corporation E.V. Narasimha Reddy at a high profile event with presence of the Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy attended by investors, consultants, architects, heritage conservationists, environmental NGOs and others where entry was restricted by invitation.
