The soap star also looked back at her memories of playing the role over the years. “It was full of life and a certain energy and madness about it that I love.”

She also praised former head writer James E. Reilly, calling him a madman who always came up with the wackiest and most fun storylines.

While she came on Days of our Lives only for a few episodes this time, she is more than willing to consider a full-time position once again.

“Sure, I’d love to. I love that character. I’m from the theater, and you do a show, and then it’s gone; you don’t stay with the character,” she said. “But I kind of fell in love with Vivian, and then I felt sort of a loss when I wasn’t playing her,” Louise admitted.

This is why she is willing to return full-time if the writers ask. It is not a secret that the audience would be elated to see her on the show again.

During a conversation with Soap Opera Digest, the actress opened up about how she went from a small recurring role to expanding to a contractual role. Her return saw her confessing that she accidentally ran over Luna, thus killing her. “I’m always learning new things,” Sydney shared of her role.

“I had no idea that I was going to be the one to kill Luna. And then I did not know about the homeless storyline until I read it in the script,” she added, about how exciting it is to keep finding new details about the character she is portraying. She continued that she has a few hints about what’s ahead.

This also includes being involved with RJ Forrester, who also came back onscreen after being recast. “We’ve got this messy little foursome going on. So it’s always a fun surprise to see what’s coming up,” Sydney spoke about the new shaping storyline involving Dylan, Will, Electra, and now even RJ.

“Honestly, I think she’s just a girl with a crush. And it’s a difficult situation, because she cares about Electra. She doesn’t want to be disrespectful, but she gets swept up in this guy who was really sweet and helped her out and took her in,” Sydney Bullock expressed about the proximity to Will.

And for the question on everybody’s mind. Is Dylan connected to Luna in some way or form? “As far as I know, I’m not Luna in a mask or Luna with plastic surgery to look like Dylan,” Sydney responded and pointed out that Dylan is genuine and not a psychopath like Luna, though she is rebellious.

“So not Luna 2.0, but maybe not quite as sweet and innocent as Electra,” the actress felt and concluded, “She’s not putting people in cages. She’s just maybe a little looser on the moral high ground, unintentionally. But she gets swept up.” It remains to be seen how the love triangle fares eventually.

But the survival thriller has also proven it will not lack lyrical intensity after the release of this new track, Naam Karu Bada.

This Adarsh Gourav rap shows how deeply the film cares about establishing its characters and their quirky personas. Gourav’s character, Aala Flowpara, is a struggling rapper from Nala Sopara. So Naam Karu Bada really represents his story as a young artist trying to make it big.

That historic honor belongs to Spider-Man (2002), starring Tobey Maguire. According to History.com, the superhero film, which was released on Friday, May 3, 2002, became the first movie ever to surpass $100 million in North America in a single opening weekend by Sunday, May 5, 2002.

The game adaptation collected a solid $1.8 million on Tuesday, Discount Day in North America, with a hike of 13.2% from Monday, which is more than Resident Evil’s $1.2 million first Tuesday/Discount Day gross. Edges closer to beating the domestic haul of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter

Resident Evil is a popular film franchise based on the Japanese video game franchise by Capcom. It is also the final installment of the main franchise, and Milla Jovovich reprised her role from the previous movies. It will be a massive achievement for Iron Lung to beat The Final Chapter.

For the record, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter collected $26.8 million at the domestic box office in its lifetime. However, it is the lowest-grossing film in the original franchise at the domestic box office. It still faces an uphill battle at the box office, needing a considerable sum just to recover its production costs. The Chris Pratt starrer sci-fi flick is in its second week only, and yet the collections are disappointing. The film collected $584k on its second Tuesday, Discount Day at the domestic box office, down by 61.4% from its first Tuesday/Discount Day. After 12 days, the domestic total for the futuristic thriller has reached $20.15 million.

Set to cross $50 million worldwide

According to Box Office Mojo, Mercy’s overseas total stands at $21.49 million after its second weekend. It contributes 51.6% of the worldwide total. Adding the domestic and the overseas totals, the worldwide collection has hit $41.6 million. It is on track to hit the $50 million mark worldwide this weekend.

How much more is needed to recover its production cost at the box office?

According to media reports, Mercy has a production budget of $63 million, making it a moderately budgeted film. In other circumstances, it would be a recoverable cost; however, since it is underperforming at the box office, the film is struggling even to cover its costs. Chris Pratt‘s starrer is still more than $22 million away from recovering its production cost at the box office, and achieving break-even is unlikely.

As per industry experts, the movie is tracking to earn between $60 million and $70 million only in its global run. Therefore, it will just recover the budget but not achieve break-even. For the record, it needs over $157 million to break even, and it is not even tracking to cross $100 million. Mercy will be a box-office flop, but Amazon MGM only wants to raise awareness of the film by releasing it theatrically, so it performs well on the streaming platform.

Mercy, featuring Chris Pratt and Rebecca Ferguson, was released on January 23.
