Box Office: Mirai Rules Saturday, Competition From Demon Slayer to The Conjuring

From action to romance and horror, audiences have a wide variety of choices. But if we talk about Saturday’s box office, Teja Sajja’s Mirai emerged as the clear winner, leaving behind even the mighty Demon Slayer. Let’s check the full report.

Teja Sajja’s Mirai continues its strong run at the box office. After opening with ₹13 crore on Friday, the film picked up further on Saturday with ₹13.5 crore. In just two days, Mirai has earned an impressive ₹26.5 crore, making it one of the strongest openers of the season.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle

The Japanese anime blockbuster had a thunderous start in India with ₹13 crore on Friday. On Saturday, it maintained the same numbers with another ₹13 crore. With a total of ₹26 crore in two days, Demon Slayer is giving tough competition to Mirai, though Mirai took the Saturday lead.

Ek Chatur Naar

Starring Divya Khosla and Neil Nitin Mukesh, this film has failed to attract audiences. It earned just ₹55 lakh on Friday and ₹80 lakh on Saturday, bringing its two-day total to ₹1.35 crore.

Jugnuma

Despite high expectations from Manoj Bajpayee’s Jugnuma, the film has been a big disappointment. It collected only ₹5 lakh on Friday and ₹8 lakh on Saturday, with a total of ₹13 lakh in two days.

Baaghi 4

Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 4 is showing decent growth. The film earned ₹1.35 crore on Friday and ₹1.5 crore on Saturday. With these numbers, its total collection so far has reached ₹47.25 crore.

The Bengal Files

Vivek Agnihotri’s The Bengal Files has completed 10 days at the box office. On Friday it earned ₹60 lakh, and on Saturday ₹1.11 crore, bringing its total to ₹12.96 crore.

The Conjuring: Last Rights

The horror franchise continues to pull crowds. On its ninth day, the film added ₹3 crore on Saturday, after ₹2 crore on Friday. So far, The Conjuring: Last Rights has collected ₹72 crore.

Loka Chapter 1

The Malayalam release Loka Chapter 1 is making waves. The film collected ₹4.05 crore on Friday and ₹6.35 crore on Saturday. With a total of ₹72 crore, it is enjoying a blockbuster run.
