Chairman of Billroth Hospitals, Rajesh Jeganathan, on Saturday presented a cheque of ₹20 lakh to a young heart transplant survivor who underwent surgery in September 2025, and will also extend financial support for the survivor, Class XII student S. Jayaparuvathani to pursue higher education.
Ms. Jayaparuvathani from Kattumannarkoil received the cheque alongside her mother. Coming from a financially modest background, she said this would ease their burden. “This means a lot to me. Now, I am back to chasing my dreams. I wish to study data science in the future,” she added.
