The Delhi High Court has issued notice to Lenskart Solutions Ltd. on a suit filed by five traditional artisans from Bidar in Karnataka alleging infringement of the registered Geographical Indication (GI) “Bidriware” and passing off machine-made products as authentic Bidri craft.
Justice Amit Bansal, in an order passed on February 25, directed that notice be issued to the eyewear company and listed the matter for hearing on March 13.
