The Kozhikode police arrested a senior citizen on Sunday (March 1) on charges of sexually assaulting a teenage boy from West Kochi. He was booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
The accused, Gerald Kora, a native of Kozhikode, allegedly took the boy to a textile shop when the latter was visiting a relative’s house in Kozhikode and sexually assaulted him in the trial room over a month ago. He is also accused of assaulting the boy again at a vacant flat.
