Nothing Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro launched: Price, features and availability

Nothing on Thursday (March 5, 2026) launched the Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro smartphones in global markets. The London-based tech company scales from Phone 3a series launched last year with these new Phone 4a series smartphones.
Nothing will not launch any flagship this year and Phone 3 continues to be the flagship for the brand in 2026 as well. However, it also unveiled a new over-head headphones, Headphone a, at more accessible price point, claiming around 135 hours of playtime, hi-res audio and similar controls like Headphone 1. It has been priced at €159 (around ₹16,908).

With the Phone 4a series, Nothing brings the NOS 4.1 operating system based on Android 16 out of the box. The phones also have the Essential apps, glyph lighting, and the trademark transparent back design which Nothing is known for.
Nothing will provide 3 years of OS and 4 years of security updates to the Phone 4a series phones.

The Nothing Phone 4a has a 6.78 inch LTPS flexible AMOLED display having a 120 Hz refresh rate, 4,500 nits peak brightness, and being protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.

For the first time ever, Nothing has breached the 5,000 mAh battery power in India and now the Phone 4a gets a 5,400 mAh battery which will be supported by up to 50W wired charging system. It is IP64 rated as well for dust and water.
Phone 4a will run on Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 with up to 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.
Nothing has loaded the Phone 4a with a 50 MP main Samsung GN9 sensor having OIS and EIS support along with a 50 MP Samsung JN5 telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and an 8 MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide camera. It has a 32 MP Samsung KD1 front sensor for selfies.
Phone 4a will be available in Pink, White, Black and Blue shades. It starts at ₹31,999 for the 8 GB/128 GB model, and goes on sale starting March 13.
Phone 4a Pro
With the Phone 4a Pro, Nothing has moved the transparent part to the camera module only, leaving other areas with a more metallic feel. It uses a 6.83 inch AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 5,000 nits peak brightness.
The Nothing Phone 4a Pro uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and will be available in up to 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. Both the phones have UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5x RAM type.
Phone 4a Pro ships with a 5,080 mAh battery and supported by up to 50W charging.
Phone 4a Pro also uses a 50 MP main Sony camera along with a 50 MP telephoto and an 8 MP ultrawide sensor. It has a 32 MP front camera.
Phone 4a Pro comes in Black, White, Pink and Metallic Silver colours. Phone 4a Pro starts at ₹39,999 for the 8 GB/128 GB model. It goes on sale starting March 21.
