Ajay Devgn’s much-awaited Raid 2 is set to hit theatres on May 1, 2025, but early signs suggest that it might not replicate the explosive start of its predecessor. Initially, trade analysts predicted that Raid 2 could open around ₹15 crore, leveraging the May Day holiday and franchise recall. After all, for any franchise to sustain, each installment needs to deliver commercially. For now, the focus must remain on whether Raid 2 can recreate the magic of the original.
