Storyline

The Tribhuvan Mishra CA Topper series kicks off by introducing us to its protagonist, Tribhuvan Mishra, played by Manav Kaul. He is an upright employee at the Noida housing scheme government office, living a modest life with his wife Ashoklata (Naina Sareen) and their two children. However, his world is turned upside down when his savings get stuck in a bank that suddenly shuts down. Desperate to provide for his family, Tribhuvan turns to an unexpected profession – he becomes a male escort, or ‘Purush Vaishya’. This twist leads to a series of dramatic and comedic events that keep the audience hooked.

Direction and Writing

The direction by Amrit Raj Gupta and Puneet Krishna is commendable, maintaining the series’ interest from start to finish. Tillotama Shome, though a bit overshadowed by the rest of the cast, delivers a solid performance. Jitin Gulati has his moments, while Faisal Malik and Ashok Pathak provide much-needed comic relief. Their portrayal of the police inspector and his subordinate is both hilarious and endearing.

Shubhrajyoti Barat, as Raja Bhaiya, steals the show with his impactful performance.
