The trailer for the upcoming film Vikky Vidya Ka Vo Wala Video Trailer Out Now has just been released, and it looks like a hilarious trip back to the 1990s. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, who also worked on the Dream Girl films, this comedy promises a mix of nostalgia and laughs.
The trailer starts with Vicky and Vidya’s wedding in Rishikesh. They decide to record their “first night” as a keepsake, but things quickly go wrong when their CD player and the video get stolen. This sets off a chaotic search that drives the story.
Vijay Raaz, playing a grumpy cop on the case, delivers some of the best laughs. His initial grumbling, “Did I become an Inspector for this day?” changes to excitement when he meets Mallika Sherawat’s character, adding more humor to the film.
Mallika Sherawat returns to the screen in a role that echoes her famous appearance in Welcome. She plays a family member who stands out in the story.
Set in 1997, the film captures the essence of the 90s with its fashion, music, and atmosphere. Daler Mehndi’s hit song “Na Na Na Re” plays in the background, enhancing the nostalgic feel.
The trailer is packed with funny lines, including a great moment where Vicky defends himself by saying, “Hum jaise middle class ladke date pe nahi, bhandaro pe jate hai” (Middle-class boys like us don’t go on dates, we go to community feasts).
The trailer ends with a surprising twist: Vicky and Vidya get a ransom call for their missing CD, raising the stakes and hinting at more comedy.
The film’s marketing team has been creating buzz with creative promotions, including a quirky teaser where the actors appeared as 90s-style newsreaders, announcing their “grand family” film.
Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is set to hit theaters on October 11, 2024. With its 90s nostalgia, star cast, and promise of nonstop laughs, it’s shaping up to be a must-see family comedy.
